I worked on The Wild Bunch, an animated feature from a new studio, which unfortunately never made it to release. Below are some of the sequences I boarded and wrote.
I created and wrote this sequence because the audience needed to see the film's villain.
This needed a subplot. It had to be funny, simple, and short!
This sequence needed to start out somber and become inspirational.
An alternate opening for the film's teaser that I pitched, and which ultimately made it into the edit.
This was a troubled sequence in the script. It had no real purpose or drive. I had to come up with a way to make it flow, and make it vital. As always, the answer lay in character arcs.
Introduction of the Sage character. Staging ten characters while introducing six of them to the audience was a fun challenge, and making Sage stand out against all that was even more so!
